Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management-Level 7 - Extended

Awarded by ABP (Association of Business Practitioners)

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management awarded by ABP (The Association of Business Practitioners) is designed to meet a range of different needs such as preparing the students for specific jobs, a route for students to gain advanced entry to a Masters degree at UK universities, opportunities to develop skills that support their career and professional development.

The course is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and is equivalent to level 7 on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).

Modules

The ABP Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management comprises eight mandatory units. Each unit comprises 1200 hours of learning and eight units. To achieve the qualification, a learner must successfully complete all eight units.

MBA top up programme

After successful completion of the above ABP PGD Business Management extended course students can gain advanced entry to MBA programme of various UK universities listed here. More Universities will be added to the list in the coming months. The benefit for students is that only selective modules need to be completed to obtain an MBA. This saves time and money.

Entry Requirements

At least 18 years of age
IELTS: Minimum of 5.5 on each Modules - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking

And one of the following
A relevant Bachelor's Degree,
BTEC/Diploma with 2-3 Years experience at managerial level is also considered, or
ABE Advanced Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant work experience.

Term dates: KCOL offer four terms: January, April, June and September.

Duration: 12 - 18 months, Full-time
