Level 6 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management

It is for those who aim for high level managerial roles in organisations. It focuses on topics which are necessary for those who want to understand how organisations plan their activities at a strategic level and how they implement these plans in a way that contribute towards the smooth running of organisations and the maximisation of their competitive advantage.
Candidates will develop a holistic approach to business together with the analytical and evaluative skills necessary for those in managerial positions.

It is recommend the course can be studied full time, which takes one year; or part time, which takes two years. Students are assessed by formal examinations and assignments.
The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities.
Assessment
The mandatory units are assessed individually. Three units are assessed by an examination, which is set and marked by the IAM. The remaining unit is assessed by a portfolio, which is set by the IAM, marked by the centre and moderated by the IAM. This minimises the assessment burden for candidates and centre staff while enabling candidates to complete the qualification in small, achievable steps.
All optional units are assessed individually. Units are assessed by either an assignment or a portfolio. All optional unit assessments are set by the IAM, marked by the centre and moderated by the IAM. This ensures that the qualification caters for the needs of candidates who may have some difficulty with writing examinations while keeping the rigour of assessment and not placing a considerable assessment burden on centre staff.
Certification and grading: The units are not graded individually; candidates may pass or fail. However, they will be informed of the percentage value of their achievement. On the successful completion of the full qualification they will receive a qualification certificate graded as pass, merit or distinction.
