Terms and Conditions

If you are offered a place and you are accepted at Kingston College of London, a contract is formed. The terms of this contract include the following, and your acceptance of a place is expressly subject to these terms and conditions put forward by the Kingston College of London.

You will be required as a condition of enrolment to abide by the rules and regulations of the College, procedures and codes of conduct as amended from time to time under the authority of the College.


The information in this website is issued on the express condition that all matters in it are subject to change from time to time.

In particular, while the College will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver the courses and programs of study and other educational services as set out in this website, circumstances may change, and the College reserves the right at any time to vary the content and delivery of courses, to change the location of courses or modules, to discontinue or combine courses, or to discontinue services, if such action is reasonably considered necessary by the College.

You will be required as a condition of enrolment to:

  • i) be at least 18 or the minimum age specified for the course and produce documentary evidence that you satisfy the entry requirements for the course, or have qualification deemed equivalent by the College; and

  • ii) have applied for admission and have a confirmed acceptance in writing from the College; and

  • iii) pay the fee prescribed for the course, or produce acceptable evidence of sponsorship. Fees may include supplementary fees for materials or field courses or exams or similar.

The College does not accept responsibility, and expressly excludes liability for damage to student property or intellectual property through the negligence of its staff or agents or for the consequences of any modification or cancellation of courses as set out in this prospectus.

All information on this website is subject to change at any time. The College reserves the right, without notice, to change details of the programs, and to amend fees, at any time before or after applications are admitted.

STUDENT RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS UNDER TIER 4 REGULATIONS

Student Obligations under Tier 4 regulations

  • Students must bring their visa and passport to the college when they arrive, for the college to be able to take a copy as a record

  • Students must also bring their visa and passport to the college if they receive a visa extension and/or in case of any changes to your passport or visa

  • Students must keep their contact details up to date on the college records (this includes their local address in the UK)

  • If students miss any classes, tutorials, assignments, exams or appointments with their tutors, they must tell them, as the college will be required to report a series of unauthorised absences to the UK Border Agency (UKBA)

  • Students must talk to the college if they wish to transfer to a different course, withdraw from their studies or take leave of absence.

  • Students are expected to attend 100% of their teaching sessions; however their attendance must not fall below 85% at any time.

Student Rights under Tier 4 regulations

  • Students right to work is controlled by UKBA regulations and varies depending on their level of courses and status of colleges. Student should consult their own visa document to be sure of their own working rights in the UK.
  • Students are entitled to attend the College and participate in academic and extra-curricular activities in an environment of mutual respect for diversity, free from prejudice or discrimination.
  • Students have right to be treated with dignity and tolerance, without threat of bullying, harassment or threats.
  • Student have right to receive tuition, supervision, assessment and support in a professional manner.
